A bit about me…

Hi, I’m Jo

The person behind Wharfe Trail Dogs.

I’ve always had a huge love for dogs, and Wharfe Trail Dogs has grown from that passion — wanting to give dogs the kind of days I’d want for my own.

I believe a dog’s walk should be so much more than getting from A to B. It should be about sniffing, exploring, running, playing, making friends and having a brilliant time outdoors. There’s nothing I love more than seeing a dog’s excitement when they realise it’s time for their adventure!

I keep my group walks small, because I want to know every dog in my care — their personality, their little quirks, what they love and what makes them feel comfortable. Building trust with both dogs and their owners is really important to me.

I’m based locally and know the woodland walks around Guiseley, Yeadon, Rawdon, Menston and Bramhope well. I’m lucky enough to spend my days exploring some beautiful places with some very happy dogs!

My own dogs have always been a huge part of my life, and losing my much-loved Ollie reminded me just how much these animals become part of our families. That’s one of the reasons I care so much about making sure every dog who joins the Wharfe Trail pack is treated with the same love, patience and care I’d want for my own.

I want to build a lovely little local business where dogs genuinely enjoy coming to see me and owners can feel completely confident that their dog is in safe, loving hands.

Small packs. Big adventures. Happy dogs. ❤️🐾
